Holy cow, 2018 went by in a flash didn’t it? It seems like the older I get, the faster that time flies! Do you agree?
This past year was such a blessing and I am so grateful for all of the opportunities that I had working with amazing clients. And while it was a tremendous year, it did not come easy. Being self employed, means that often I am working 7 days a week, constantly meeting the needs of my clients, while also actively prospecting for new clients and keeping up a social media presence.
Luckily, I LOVE my job, and so it doesn’t feel like work most of the time!
Here are a few of the highlights from 2018!
Connecting with Artists:
If you follow me on Instagram — on Sunday’s I like to share the work of artist’s whose work I admire. I met several new artists this year, who after ‘meeting’ on Instagram — we then collaborated on projects together! I’ll share more on that in a future post, but here is one of the artists’ that I love — with whom I’m currently working on two projects!
Stephanie Henderson is an artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. You can view her work and bio here.
Price Style and Design — in the NEWS!
Many of you know that I am 56 years old — and it wasn’t until a few years ago that I was able to finally focus 100% on my passion for Interior Design. While I did it as a part time gig, along with residential real estate staging, raising kids and taking care of aging parents. It wasn’t until my kids moved out, my parents passed away (and I pulled myself together!) that I dove whole heartedly into pursuing my dream.
I am incredibly honored to have had my work featured in many publications and websites this past year, including House Beautiful, Gentry Magazine, California Home and Design, Forbes, Elle Decor, Dering Hall, Houzz and more! (Click my press page for all of the details!)
Amazing Clients
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with such special clients this year. From a year long project building a Mediterranean Colonial House (which I’ll be sharing more about in the coming months!); to countless families and art loving clients who gave me the opportunity to create spaces that bring them joy — to the kitchen and bath renovations and facelifts, and the commercial clients — it’s been a blast!
Thank you to all of my clients, blog readers and social media followers. I’m forever grateful for all your support!
And stay tuned for some exciting news in the coming months!!
