One of my favorite projects of all time -- this 1960's kitchen got a fresh facelift with a minimal amount of actual 'remodeling'. This is a project that I finished in 2014, but I recently had it professionally photographed, and I wanted to share it, again, with you!
Here it is before:
We kept the original footprint of the kitchen, removed some of the upper cabinets and refaced and painted the rest. We changed the countertops to Carrera Marble, added a new sink, hardware, cooktop and hood.

We added pretty chrome pendants and a semi-flush ceiling mount for additional light.

Architectural detail was infused by taking the 2x8 white subway tile all the way to the ceiling. No need for a window treatment -- as this view is breathtaking and very private.

That pretty and whimsical rug makes such a great statement, don't you think? It's from one of my favorite on-trend places to shop, Lulu & Georgia!
I was thrilled when this project was chosen as 'One of the Most Inspiring Professional Projects of 2014' by Apartment Therapy!
What an honor!
